Fireflies

Decision-taking is not a characteristic that can be associated with teenagers; neither does planning ahead. Moisés R. has been dreaming about fireflies, this lampyridae insect from the family of Coleoptera, that is, a bug which can produces light.

FIREFLIES – OWL CITY

You would not believe your ______,
If ten million fireflies
Lit up the _____ as I fell asleep.

'Cause they'd fill the open air
And leave teardrops ________
You'd think me rude
But I would just stand and stare.

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet _____ turns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay
Awake when I'm asleep,
'Cause vevryeihtng is never as it seems.

'Cause I'd get a _____ hugs
From ten thousand tnginihgl bugs,
As they tried to teach me how to dance

A foxtrot above my daeh
A sock hop beneath my bed
A disco ball
Is just anhgnig by a thread.

(Chorus)

Leave my door open just a crack
'Cause I feel like such an ______
Why do I tire of counting sheep
When I'm far too tired to fall asleep?

To ten million ______,
I'm weird 'cause I hat odogbeys
I got misty eyes
As they said reafelwl

But I'll know where several are,
If my _____ get real bizarre,
'Cause I saved a few and I keep them in a jar.

(Chorus)

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet earth turns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay
Awake when I'm asleep,
Because my dreams are bursting at the seams.

Do you count fireflies or lambs before going to bed?
