The debate is the following: What would you able to do for someone's else? For a member of your family, a relative, a friend, an acquaintance, or an unknown person. Please think about that and share it with me in class or by comment
Grenade by Bruno Mars
Easy come, easy ___________ That's just how you live, oh
Take, take, take it all But you never give
Should've known you was trouble From the first kiss
Had your eyes wide open Why were they ___________ ? (You are supposed to translate this first paragraph in the song)
Gave you all I had
And you tossed it in the trash
You tossed it in the trash, you did
To give me all your love
Is all I ever asked 'cause
What you don't understand is
I'd catch a grenade for ya
Throw my hand on a ___________ for ya
I'd jump in front of a train for ya
You know I'd do anything for ya
Oh oh, I would go through all of this pain
Take a bullet straight through my brain
Yes, I would die for you, baby
But you won't do the ___________ [Chorus]
No, no no
Black, black, black and blue Beat me 'til I'm ___________
Tell the devil I said "hey" When you get back to where you're from
Mad woman, bad woman That's just what you are
Yeah, you'll smile in my face Then rip the brakes out my ___________ .
[Chorus]
If my body was on fire Oh, you'd watch me burn ___________ in flames
You said you loved me, you're a liar
'Cause you never, ever, ever did baby
[Chorus]
Juan Carlos A. has chosen the same song. His work in on a ppp.
What would you do for a classmate? Would you catch a Grenade for him/her?

I think there is kind of a mistake in this sentence: Alfonso C. has thought that you make like to fill in the gaps with these missing words.
ResponderEliminarInstead of make, shouldn't it be may? or might? Otherwise it does not make sense for me.
Great blog by the way, plenty of info for learners (and teachers) of English. Cheers mate!
Thanks mate!
