Euphoria

Eurovision Song Contest is taken place in Mälmo, Sweeden this week. E.S.C. is basically a competition of songs, in which many countries choose English as lingua franca in order to be understood by the others. As political aspects are everywhere, every country votes their neighbours as in the example of the former Yugoslavia or the former U.R.S.S., Greece gives their 12 to Cyprus and viceversa, the same with Ireland and the UK, although I don't think Irish keep a good memory of the British stay in their country.

Giacomo d.P., who will be supporting Italy on that day, has chose last year winner, Loreen with her song Euphoria. Everybody must agree that the winner is liked by almost all the other countries.

As Robert Stewart remarks "Look Back in Angen is seen as an expression of frustration with Britain's post war situation.
